Temporary Generator Power at London’s iconic queen Elizabeth’s Olympic Park for Elrow Town’s highly anticipated Festival.
Powerhire were thrilled to be partnering with Innovation Power to provide temporary generator power for the Elrow’s biggest UK show to date.
This colourful, fun and friendly two-day Spanish festival of music made its debut in London in August bringing with it a mammoth line up including some of the biggest DJ’s in the world; headliners Jamie Jones, widely regarded as the leader in the new sound of house, Dan Pearce aka Eats Everything dance DJ and producer along with actor and DJ Idris Elba taking to the decks just down the road from his childhood home.
It’s no wonder this vibrant festival complete with an entire replica town including town squares, markets, cafés, bars, lampposts and much more sold out more than 30,000 tickets within 4 hours! With its 3 huge stages including for the first time a stage dedicated for bass-heavy UK sounds, Partygoers were introduced to a world of imagination, wonder and surprise for two magical days of party heaven!
Being a new event for Powerhire, the provision of temporary generator power was discussed with the Innovation Power team in advance. Powerhire allocated 11 of their most efficient event spec temporary generators ranging from 30kVA to 300kVA along with 9 x 1000 & 2000 litre fuel tanks in conjunction with the specified power loads at desired locations.
As with each new project, all the temporary generators were cleaned and serviced by our team of dedicated service engineers and on the specified day delivered from our Dover depot along with the necessary rental cable and to East London ready for the fun to begin.
After a very successful, unforgettable two days of outrageous partying the weekend ended with explosions of rainbow confetti, props and toys which Elrow have become famous for.
We wait in anticipation for their return visit in 2018!
