Our strategy is all about powering a resilient future by using AMPS’ platform as the Trusted Voice of the industry.

Our strategy targets six key areas where we can apply our influence, expertise, and voice to safeguard the sector and support a secure energy system:

Energy security: We want to see decentralised, temporary and emergency power generating systems at the heart of protecting our Critical National Infrastructure.
Sustainability: We want to see our industry recognised not as part of the problem, but as a valued contributor to a resilient, modern and low-carbon energy system.
Emerging and future technologies: We aim to set clear standards for sustainability, traceability, and reporting for renewables and emerging and future low-carbon technologies.
Skills, workforce & professionalism: We will take a proactive role in strengthening training, accreditation and general skills development across the sector, including best practice in installation, testing and maintenance.
Membership: We will remain a member-led association that reflects the diversity of our industry while delivering clear value for every single member organisation.
Technical expertise: We will ensure AMPS remains a credible, Trusted Voice for member-led technical expertise.
