Tickets on sale for the AMPS Awards for Excellence 2026
The countdown to the biggest night in UK power generation has begun.
The AMPS Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner returns to the 5* Lowry Hotel in Salford on Thursday 26th November 2026, bringing our industry together for an unforgettable evening of celebration.
The night of nights for UK power generation
The AMPS Awards for Excellence have become a cornerstone event in the power generation sector. Winning tells the industry that your work meets a high professional standard, and winners receive an elegant trophy and champagne to toast their success.
The evening begins with a sparkling networking drinks reception before guests sit down to a black-tie gala dinner, followed by the presentation of the 2026 AMPS Awards for Excellence.
The formal part of the evening ends around 11pm, but the bar stays open late, giving you plenty of time to carry on networking with your industry peers.

Are you ready for Pierre Novellie?
Expect sharp wit and big laughs during the night, as we’re delighted to announce comedian Pierre Novellie as our host for 2026.
Pierre is an acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, radio host and podcaster, having appeared on BBC’s The Mash Report and the latest series of Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central. He is also co-host of The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio.
Pierre‘s latest show Why Can’t I Just Enjoy Things? saw a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and was his third show to have been placed in the top 20 best-reviewed comedy shows across the entire festival.

Bring your team and invite your clients. Booking a table of 10 is a great way to thank the people who made your year, especially with the UK’s power-generation leaders attending.
Tickets are available as full tables of 10 or individually.
- Table of 10: £2,200 (ex VAT)
- Individual ticket: £240 (ex VAT)
We know budgets are tight, which is why prices are exactly the same as last year, with no increase for 2026.
Your ticket includes the sparkling networking reception and a three-course dinner, with half a bottle of wine or soft drinks included for every guest. A bar will be open throughout the evening for extra drinks.

There’s no limit to the number of categories you can enter, or the number of awards you can win – but you’ve got to be in it to win it!

A limited number of sponsorship packages are available for the 2026 AMPS Awards for Excellence, starting from just £750 + VAT. Award category sponsorships are also available from £1,100 + VAT.
