CECE Congress 2026 comes to London

CECE Congress 2026 will take place in London from 27 to 29 October, welcoming over 150 delegates from the UK and Europe to The IET, Savoy Place.

The event brings together industry leaders, EU stakeholders, and innovators to discuss how creativity, technology, and people are shaping the future of construction and mining equipment. It also aims to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in this evolving sector.

The CECE Congress is held every two years and is hosted by the country of the current CECE President. In 2026, the UK will host, with Phil Layton of JCB as President and the CEA hosting the event.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Phil said: “The Congress will bring together leaders, experts and stakeholders to exchange perspectives on trends and developments shaping our sector. Through open discussion and shared experience, we will explore how innovation, people and organisations are adapting to change and creating new opportunities for the future.”

Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA, said: “The CEA is delighted to be hosting CECE Congress 2026 in London. It is a valuable opportunity to bring people together from across the UK and Europe, at a time when our sector is facing important discussions around skills, investment, innovation and competitiveness.”

This year’s programme follows the theme ‘Create, Innovate, Inspire’ and will address skills, investment, innovation, and competitiveness in the European construction equipment sector.

The programme includes a welcome drinks reception at Savoy Place and a gala dinner on a Thames river cruise. Hotel accommodation is arranged for delegates, and partner tickets are available for both evening events.
