Lead of AMPS Technical Committee working group for Emissions
As the Customer engineering manager for the Cummins G-drive business Richard first engaged with AMPS and the world of regulations and standards 25 years ago. After a ‘sabbatical’ in the marine business Richard became the first full time Non-Road Regulatory Affairs person located in the EU for Cummins, re-engaging with AMPS. Richard is the exhaust emissions expert for AMPS and EuropGen. Richard worked closely with the European Commission and other stakeholders on the development of the stage V non-road emissions regulation and the Medium Combustion Plant Directive. Richard is active with BSI, chairing the generator panel of the engines committee and representing BSI at the ISO.

John is a member of National Grid work group GC0035 and GC0079: Frequency change under large disturbances and their effect on the total system.
He is also involved with GC0100 EU Connection Codes GB Implementation – Mod 1 and GC0101 EU Connection Codes GB Implementation – Mod 2

Jackson Bond is Co-Founder and Chief Industry Evangelist at relayr. Jackson was previously Chief Product Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, building out the Product and Marketing teams at relayr since 2013. He has spent the last 5 years advising engineers and executives in heavy industry, to understand their pain points and needs, to help them leverage their machine data to achieve a predictive state and digital transformation. Jackson previously co-founded MONOQI, a leading eCommerce platform for design products, and 8hertz Technologies, a speech-recognition application company, sold to VOXGEN UK in 2007. He has also worked in Corporate Development building new products and services for the German business network XING AG and for the Holtzbrinck Group company, Parship. Jackson has lived in Germany 27 years, currently in Berlin with his wife and two daughters.
Romain Mocaer spent several years as a marketing & strategy analyst for a generator manufacturer in UK. He realized there was a lack of specific and accurate data for this market so he decided to create a market research company (PowerGen Statistics) specialising in the power generation industry, in order to meet the requirements of industry players. PowerGen Statistics provides monthly trade statistics of generators as well as market sizes and segment reports.
As a Business Development Manager at HMS Industrial Networks, Davor has his main focus on HMS Remote and IIoT solutions.
Davor have been working with remote connectivity and management towards the PowerGen market for over 10 years. During this years, Davor have been involved in enabling remote solutions for generator and UPS manufacturers all over the world.
Davor has a background as an electronics engineer and been working within the area of industrial automation for the last 20 years.
Technical Secretary of AMPS
Bernard has nearly 50 years’ experience in power generation and associated electrical and mechanical technologies. He was a student apprentice with Brush Electrical Engineering Ltd from 1968, where he spent a period in Electrical Design covering large generators, up to 100MVA, prior to transferring to the Sales Department where he became Export Sales Manager and then Service Manager. Positions in General Electric Company UK (Not the American GE) followed, and a move to Dale Electric where he was responsible for sales and application engineering of gas turbine generators.
Positions followed at Deutz UK / MWM, and Edina UK.
His experience includes industrial and petrochemical projects operating on shore and offshore operating on a variety of fuels including natural gas, biogas, syngas, diesel fuel and heavy fuel oil. Experience of adherence to national and international standards for construction and operation, including environmental conditions are included.
